Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Vegetables

05 - 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
06 - 1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped

→ Dairy and Wrappers

07 - 24 egg roll wrappers
08 - 12 slices American cheese, cut in half

→ For Frying

09 - 2 tablespoons butter
10 - 3/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it into pea-sized pieces, until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, then transfer mixture to a bowl.
02 - Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir until translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add beef mixture back into the skillet and stir to combine. Remove from heat and let cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
03 - Lay egg roll wrappers on a flat surface. Place 1/2 slice of American cheese onto each wrapper, then top with approximately 3 tablespoons of filling. Pull the bottom left corner up over the filling, fold the two sides in, moisten edges with water, and roll tightly.
04 - Fill a large saucepan with about 1 inch of oil and heat over medium-high heat. Working in batches of 3 to 4, fry the egg rolls until browned on all sides, about 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

# Additional Notes:

01 - The nutritional value of oil is calculated based on a retention value of 10% after cooking. The absorbed amount can vary depending on factors like frying temperature, time, and ingredient density.
