Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease.

In a large bowl, stir together all-purpose flour, sweetened shredded coconut, and salt until evenly mixed.

Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Mix until coconut is thoroughly coated and mixture is cohesive and sticky.

Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop mounds of the mixture onto prepared sheets, spacing about 1 inch apart.

Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until edges and tops are golden brown.

Remove baking sheet from oven and let cookies cool for 2 minutes.

While cookies are still warm, gently press a milk chocolate kiss into the center of each macaroon.
