01 -
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and either grease a baking sheet lightly or cover it with parchment paper.
02 -
In a big skillet over medium heat, cook the garlic, onion, and ground beef together until no pink is left in the meat. Drain off any grease.
03 -
Stir in the taco seasoning packet and water. Let the mixture cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat until it thickens a little. Take it off the heat to cool down a bit.
04 -
Mix the browned beef with the shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses until it's all blended evenly.
05 -
Warm the tortillas briefly so they become flexible and won't crack when folded.
06 -
Scoop about 1/2 cup of the beef mixture into the middle of each tortilla. Fold in the edges and roll it tightly like a burrito.
07 -
Put the filled wraps seam down onto the prepped baking sheet. Give each one a generous coating of melted butter or oil using a brush.
08 -
Bake the wraps in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them over once halfway. They're ready when they're golden and crunchy.
09 -
Dish up the wraps while they're hot and top with salsa, sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
