01 -
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill for medium heat.
02 -
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
03 -
Take a portion of the beef mixture (about 2 ounces) and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center. Carefully fold the beef mixture around the cheese to form a ball. Repeat until all cheese and beef mixture is used.
04 -
Each beef ball should be wrapped completely with one slice of bacon. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if necessary.
05 -
Place the wrapped bacon bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are not touching.
06 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
07 -
Remove from the oven or grill, let them rest for a few minutes, then serve warm.
08 -
For extra flavor, you can brush the bacon bombs with additional BBQ sauce during the last five minutes of cooking.
