Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Lasagna (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
02 - 4 large apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)
03 - ½ cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
06 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
07 - ¼ to ⅓ cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Mix well to ensure the apples are evenly coated.
03 - Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing for later use. Cut each roll into ¼-inch slices. On a floured surface, roll each slice into a thin, flat circle.
04 - Layer the bottom and sides of the prepared baking dish with the flattened cinnamon roll pieces, pressing them together to form a crust.
05 - Spread half of the apple mixture over the cinnamon roll crust. Drizzle with 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce.
06 - Add another layer of flattened cinnamon roll pieces over the apples. Spread the remaining apple mixture on top and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
07 - Finish with a final layer of flattened cinnamon roll pieces on top.
08 - Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
09 - Allow the lasagna to cool for at least 30 minutes. Drizzle with the reserved icing before serving.
