Cheeseburger Melts (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
04 - 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
05 - 1/2 cup diced onions
06 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
07 - 1 lb ground beef
08 - 1/2 cup diced pickles
09 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
10 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
11 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set your oven to warm up to 375°F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment or give it a light coat of grease.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium. Toss in the beef and diced onions. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat’s browned fully and the onions soften—about 8-10 minutes. Drain off the grease that collects.
03 - Turn off the heat and mix in pickles (if you’re using them). Cool it off a bit, then stir in the shredded cheese.
04 - Take each biscuit and press it into a 4-inch circle.
05 - Scoop a good-sized amount of your cheeseburger filling onto the middle of each dough circle. Bring the edges over the filling, pinching them tight to close and shape into balls. Lay them seam-side down on your baking sheet.
06 - Coat each ball gently with melted butter and top with sesame seeds, if you like.
07 - Pop them in the oven for 15-18 minutes, or until they’re nicely golden and cooked all the way through.
08 - Let them rest a couple of minutes before eating. These go great with ketchup or your go-to burger dip!
