# What You’ll Need:

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed (mild or spicy)
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 2 medium zucchini, chopped
06 - 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
07 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
08 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
09 - 4 cups chicken broth
10 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
11 - 1 handful fresh basil or parsley, optional

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned. Remove excess fat.
