01 -
Wash strawberries in cold water and gently dry them completely with paper towels. Make sure they're totally dry because any water drops will mess up your chocolate coating.
02 -
Put your chocolate and coconut oil or butter in a bowl safe for the microwave. Heat it in short 20-second bursts, making sure to stir well after each time, until it's smooth and shiny. Don't overheat it or it'll burn.
03 -
Grab each strawberry by its leafy top and dunk it into your melted chocolate, turning it around for full coverage. Let extra chocolate drip off before laying it on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silicone mat.
04 -
Right away, while chocolate's still sticky, add your favorite toppings by sprinkling them over or rolling the berries in them. You can also zigzag some melted white chocolate on top.
05 -
Pop the decorated strawberries in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes until the chocolate gets firm. They taste best when served cool.
