Crispy tuna and cheddar patties made quickly with pantry ingredients. Perfect for sandwiches or salads.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

01 - 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
02 - ½ cup breadcrumbs
03 - ¼ cup mayonnaise
04 - 1 egg
05 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
08 - ½ teaspoon salt
09 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
10 - ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Swiss)
11 - 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
12 - 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, combine drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
02 - Stir in shredded cheese and green onions. Form the mixture into 4-5 patties.
03 - Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each patty for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
04 - Serve on toasted bread, English muffins, or alongside a fresh salad. For an extra cheesy finish, top with cheese and place under the broiler for a minute.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs.
02 - If the patties are too wet, add a bit more breadcrumbs. If too dry, add a teaspoon of mayonnaise.
03 - Try Swiss, mozzarella, or Pepper Jack for a unique cheese flavor.
