Summer Squash Casserole Bake (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 4 medium summer squash, sliced
02 - 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
03 - 1/2 cup milk
04 - 2 eggs, beaten
05 - 1 cup breadcrumbs
06 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the squash for 5-7 minutes, until softened.
03 - In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the sautéed squash.
04 - Add half of the breadcrumbs and cheese to the mixture, then pour everything into a greased casserole dish.
05 - Top with the remaining breadcrumbs and a few pats of butter.
06 - Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
07 - Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
