Stuffed Italian Sausage (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 6 uncooked Italian sausage links
02 - 6 mozzarella cheese sticks
03 - 240 ml marinara sauce

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 204°C.
02 - Using a knife or kitchen scissors, make a slice down one side of each sausage, cutting about halfway through without cutting all the way.
03 - Insert a mozzarella stick into each cut and gently press the sausage back into shape using your hands.
04 - Pour marinara sauce into the bottom of a baking dish and spread evenly with a spoon or spatula.
05 - Place the sausages in the baking dish, cut side up. Cover the dish with foil.
06 - Bake the sausages in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
07 - Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the sausages are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.

01 - For best results, choose high-quality Italian sausage and freshly shredded mozzarella if cheese sticks aren't available.
