Easy Strawberry Brownies Glaze (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 15.5 oz box strawberry cake mix
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
05 - 3 strawberries, chopped
06 - 1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar, or more as needed
07 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
02 - Combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a bowl. Mix well and spread into an even layer in the prepared baking dish.
03 - Bake in the preheated oven for 16 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 20 minutes.
04 - Puree the chopped strawberries and the remaining 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract using a food processor or immersion blender until smooth.
05 - Stir the strawberry puree into the confectioner's sugar until smooth. Add extra sugar if necessary to achieve a glaze consistency. Mix in the kosher salt.
