# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Burger Mixture

02 - 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped small
03 - 1 small onion, diced finely
04 - 2 cloves garlic, crushed
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 3/4 cup grated white cheddar cheese
09 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

→ Assembly

10 - 4 burger buns
11 - Lettuce leaves
12 - Sliced tomato
13 - Extra white cheddar cheese (optional)
14 - Mayo or burger sauce (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Mix together the ground chicken, chopped spinach, diced onion, crushed garlic, grated white cheddar, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper in a big bowl. Stir everything gently until mixed well, but don't handle the meat too much.
02 - Split the chicken mix into four equal parts and shape them into flat, round patties. Pop them in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes if you want them to stay together better.
03 - Warm up a big non-stick pan or grill on medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they reach 165°F inside and the cheese has melted through the meat.
04 - Give the burger buns a quick toast in a pan or toaster until they turn light brown.
05 - Stack each warm bun with some lettuce, tomato slices, a hot chicken patty, and more cheese or sauce if you want. Eat them right away while they're hot.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Throw in some fresh chopped basil or parsley to make the flavor even better.
02 - These burgers go great with a side of sweet potato fries or a simple green salad.
