Scoop about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the mixture and flatten it into your palm. Place a mozzarella cube in the center, wrap the meat around the cheese to fully seal, then roll into a round ball. Repeat with remaining mixture and cheese.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Arrange meatballs in batches, avoiding crowding. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, turning gently, until each is deeply browned and cooked through.
