In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly coated.

Arrange the bottom halves of the slider buns in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Distribute the chicken mixture evenly among the buns. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the filling, then cover with the top halves of the buns.

In a small bowl, melt the butter. Lightly brush the tops of the buns with melted butter using a pastry brush.

Cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (177°C).
