Spiced Apple Cider Donut Loaf (Print-Friendly Version)

Sweet apple cider blends with cinnamon sugar creating a soft, tasty bread reminiscent of donuts.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Loaf Batter

01 - 1 1/2 cups regular flour
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/2 cup soft unsalted butter
04 - 1 cup white sugar
05 - 1 cup apple cider

→ Cinnamon Sugar Crust

06 - 1/2 cup white sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# How to Make It:

01 - Get your oven hot at 350°F. Coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan lightly with cooking spray or butter to stop sticking.
02 - Mix the soft unsalted butter with white sugar in a big bowl until it looks light and creamy.
03 - Stir together the regular flour and salt in another bowl.
04 - Slowly blend the flour mix into the butter mixture, taking turns with adding the apple cider, and stir just enough to combine everything.
05 - Dump the mixture into your greased loaf pan and use a spatula to make the top nice and flat.
06 - Stick it in your hot oven for 30 to 45 minutes. It's done when you poke it with a toothpick and nothing sticks to it.
07 - While your loaf cooks, combine 1/2 cup white sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a small dish and mix well.
08 - Let your loaf sit in the pan for about 10 to 15 minutes, then take it out carefully. While it's still warm, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mix all over the crust.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Always go for fresh apple cider for better taste, and don't forget to add the sugar coating while the bread's still warm so it sticks properly.
