Warm up your oven to 350°F or follow the temperature on the cookie dough package.

Flatten the sugar cookie dough on wax paper until it's about 1/2 inch thick. If it's cold, work it with your hands until it gets soft.

Grab a cup that's roughly the same size as the plastic tops and cut circles from the dough, remembering they'll grow a bit while baking.

Put some parchment paper on your baking sheet and lay out the dough circles with room between them.

Pop them in the hot oven for about 12-15 minutes until they turn slightly golden at the edges. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.

Once they're totally cool, spread a layer of white frosting across the top of each cookie.

Add the tiny edible decorations in the middle of each frosted cookie and sprinkle coconut flakes all over the top.

Put a clear plastic ornament top on each decorated cookie. Serve them up as cute snow globe treats.
