01 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
02 - 1 lb smoked sausage
03 - 1 lb chicken breast
04 - 1 cup heavy cream
05 - 4 cups chicken broth
06 - 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
07 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

08 - Salt and pepper, to taste
09 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 1 small onion, diced
11 - 2 tbsp olive oil
12 - Chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a big pot, warm up 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the diced chicken and sausage slices. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring now and then, until the chicken turns golden brown.
02 - Add in the diced onion and the minced garlic. Let them cook for around 2–3 minutes until they get soft and smell amazing.
03 - Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in the dry pasta and the ranch seasoning. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat to a gentle simmer.
04 - Cover the pot and let it simmer for 10–12 minutes. Stir it every so often until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens nicely.
05 - Take the pot off the heat. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until it’s all melted and smooth. Add salt and pepper as needed.
06 - Garnish with chopped parsley if you like. Serve it warm and enjoy every creamy, smoky bite of chicken and sausage pasta.
