# What You’ll Need:

→ Burgers

01 - 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
02 - 4 hamburger buns

→ Caramelized onions

03 - 2 large yellow onions, sliced
04 - 2 Tbsp butter
05 - 1 Tbsp olive oil
06 - ½ tsp salt
07 - ¼ tsp black pepper

→ Turkey baconnaise sauce

08 - ½ cup mayonnaise
09 - 2 Tbsp chopped cooked turkey bacon
10 - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
11 - 1 tsp maple syrup
12 - Pinch of black pepper

→ Optional toppings

13 - Sliced cheddar cheese
14 - Lettuce leaves

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Fry turkey bacon until crispy, let cool, and chop.
02 - Combine mayonnaise, chopped turkey bacon, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and pepper. Set aside.
03 - Cook sliced onions in butter and olive oil over medium-low heat for 20–25 minutes until golden and soft.
04 - Divide ground beef into 4 balls. Smash each on a hot skillet into thin patties. Season with salt and pepper.
05 - Sear patties for 2 minutes per side on high heat. Add cheddar cheese if using and let it melt.
06 - Toast hamburger buns. Spread turkey baconnaise on the bottom bun, add burger patty, caramelized onions, optional lettuce, and top with the bun.
