Melted cheese, garlic, and juicy shrimp unite in this gourmet take on a favorite toasted sandwich.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 8 slices thick white bread or sourdough bread

→ Seafood

02 - 1 pound small cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

→ Cheese

03 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

→ Garlic Butter

05 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
06 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, optional
10 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - In a small bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, and parsley if using until well blended.
02 - If shrimp is frozen, thaw completely and pat dry. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and warm through for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside.
03 - Spread garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each bread slice. Place buttered side down and layer with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, followed by warmed shrimp. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side facing outward.
04 - Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium. Grill each sandwich 3 to 4 minutes per side, until bread is golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
05 - Slice sandwiches in half while hot and serve immediately.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For a vegetarian adaptation, substitute shrimp with preferred vegetables.
