Sautéed Mushrooms for Steak (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 pounds mushrooms (champignon, cremini, button or mixed)
02 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 2 tablespoons butter
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
06 - 1 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika
08 - 1 ½ tablespoons balsamic vinegar
09 - 1-2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Slice the mushrooms and mince the garlic.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they release and reabsorb their water.
03 - Stir in the butter, olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well as the butter melts.
04 - When the butter is fully melted, stir in the cilantro. Remove from heat. Serve as a side dish and enjoy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Allow the mushrooms to reabsorb their water before adding the butter to prevent it from burning.
02 - Use a hot skillet to avoid mushrooms sticking to the pan. Add a small amount of oil if necessary, but avoid overdoing it to prevent greasy mushrooms.
