Sausage and Shrimp Kabobs (Printable Version)

01 - 12 oz smoked sausage rope
02 - 12 oz jumbo shrimp, tail-on, peeled, and deveined
03 - 2 tsp olive oil
04 - 2 Tbsp barbecue seasoning

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat grill to 350°F. Ensure grill grates are clean.
02 - Cut the smoked sausage into 1-inch slices, matching the thickness of the shrimp.
03 - Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Place shrimp in a bowl, add sausage slices, olive oil, and barbecue seasoning. Toss to combine.
04 - Tuck each sausage slice into the 'C' curve of the shrimp and thread them onto skewers.
05 - Grill skewers over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes. Flip and continue grilling until the shrimp are opaque and fully cooked.
06 - Remove skewers from the grill and serve immediately.

01 - Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning.
