Golden pastry ring packed with sausage, cheddar, and cream cheese for a crowd-pleasing bite.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef sausage
02 - 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
03 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Optional

08 - 1 egg, for egg wash

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - Brown the ground beef sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Once fully cooked, drain any excess grease.
03 - Add softened cream cheese to the cooked sausage and stir until melted and fully incorporated. Mix in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes.
04 - Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, with wide ends overlapping in the center and pointed ends extended outward.
05 - Distribute the sausage filling evenly along the base of the dough ring. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage mixture.
06 - Brush the exposed dough with beaten egg if using for a golden crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the crescent is golden brown and cooked through.
07 - Remove from the oven, cool slightly, slice into portions, and serve warm.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Allow the filling to cool slightly before assembling to prevent the dough from becoming soggy.
