# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 3 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
03 - 1 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

04 - 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
05 - 1 cup granulated sugar
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# How to Make It:

01 - Set oven temperature to 350°F (177°C) to ensure even baking.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cream of tartar, and salt. Whisk together and set aside.
03 - Place room temperature butter and granulated sugar in a stand mixer. Using the paddle attachment, cream on medium speed until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
04 - With the mixer running on low, gradually add eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract. Continue mixing until fully incorporated.
05 - Add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture. Mix on low speed until a smooth dough forms, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.
06 - Lightly dust work surface and rolling pin with flour. Roll dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch. Cut into desired shapes. Place cookies 1 inch apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
07 - Bake cookies in preheated oven until edges are set but not browned, 10 to 13 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
