Raspberry Cream Cheese Bites (Print-Friendly Version)

Crescent dough hugs creamy cheese and raspberries for a bakery-style sweet finger food.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Filling

01 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Pastry

04 - 1 roll crescent dough

→ Finishing

05 - Fresh raspberries
06 - Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Unroll the crescent dough and cut into squares or rectangles, each large enough to hold a spoonful of filling.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
03 - Place a spoonful of the cream cheese filling onto the center of each dough square.
04 - Top each portion with 1 or 2 fresh raspberries, depending on their size.
05 - Fold or crimp the dough edges to partially enclose the filling, leaving a small opening at the top if desired.
06 - Refrigerate the unbaked bites for 10 to 15 minutes to help them maintain their shape.
07 - Arrange the bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is set.
08 - Allow to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use firm, ripe raspberries to minimize filling leakage during baking.
02 - Bites can be made with blueberries or fruit preserves as an alternative.
