Cheesy Steak Fries (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Main

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 567 g bag of frozen waffle fries
03 - 1 green bell pepper, chopped into thin strips
04 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 450 g steak, cut into thin pieces
06 - 8 to 10 slices of White American cheese
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt
08 - 1 onion, sliced thin

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Turn your oven on to 220°C and let it warm up.
02 - Grab a skillet that's safe to go in the oven. Heat it on medium-high and drizzle in some olive oil. Once it’s hot, toss in the steak slices. Sprinkle with garlic salt and black pepper. Stir it all together to coat the meat. Cook until browned. Take the steak out and put it aside.
03 - Keep a little of the cooking juices in the pan (around a tablespoon) and get rid of the extra. Toss in the sliced green peppers and onion. Let them cook until the onions soften and the peppers are cooked but still a bit crisp. Take out and set aside.
04 - Take the skillet off the heat. Evenly spread the waffle fries across the skillet base. Cover with four slices of White American cheese. Next, layer on the browned steak and the cooked veggies. Add the last cheese slices on top.
05 - Put the skillet into the preheated oven. Let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
06 - Carefully take the skillet out of the oven. Give it a few minutes to cool down, then serve while warm.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Sprinkle some fresh parsley or chopped chives on top right before serving for extra taste.
