In a small bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and homogenous. Set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, combine chopped peaches, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

Remove each biscuit from the can and gently flatten to approximately 1/4 inch thickness using hands or a rolling pin.

Place 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture and 1 teaspoon of peach filling in the center of each flattened biscuit. Pinch edges to seal and roll gently into a round shape. Repeat for all portions.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, fry donuts in batches of 2 to 3 for approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towel-lined plate.
