→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 red bell pepper, diced
02 - 32 grams tomato paste
03 - 1 green bell pepper, diced
04 - 900 grams ground beef
05 - 795 grams crushed tomatoes
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 425 grams tomato sauce
08 - 1 large onion, finely chopped
09 - 250 grams elbow macaroni

→ Seasonings

10 - Black pepper, added to your liking
11 - Salt, added to your liking
12 - 1 teaspoon dried basil
13 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
14 - 2 teaspoons paprika

→ Extra Topping

15 - 200 grams cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Warm up a big skillet over medium heat. Toss in the beef, breaking it apart as it cooks, until it’s nicely browned. Get rid of extra grease.
02 - Throw the onion and garlic into the skillet. Stir it around for 2–3 minutes until the onion looks clear.
03 - Add the diced red and green peppers. Let them cook for a couple of minutes until they start softening up.
04 - Pour in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Stir everything until it’s combined.
05 - Toss in the basil, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Give it a good mix to evenly spread the flavors.
06 - Add the elbow macaroni, making sure it’s all covered in the sauce.
07 - Turn the heat to low, then cover and let it cook for 15–20 minutes. Stir every now and then so the macaroni cooks evenly.
08 - Want cheese? Sprinkle the shredded cheddar on top at the end. Cover until it’s all melted.
09 - Scoop it into plates and enjoy while it’s still hot.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Don’t let the macaroni overcook or it’ll lose its firm bite.
