Mashed Potato Casserole Chicken (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 5-6 cups mashed potatoes
02 - 1 cup corn
03 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly grated
04 - 8 chicken tenders
05 - Brown gravy, prepared or from packet

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
02 - If using frozen chicken tenders, let them sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften if you prefer to slice them first.
03 - Spread the mashed potatoes evenly on the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
04 - Top the mashed potatoes with corn and freshly grated cheddar cheese.
05 - Carefully slice the chicken strips into pieces of desired size and place them on top of the casserole dish.
06 - Bake uncovered for 20 minutes if using frozen chicken tenders or 15 minutes if using homemade chicken tenders.
07 - Prepare the gravy on the stovetop while the casserole finishes baking.
08 - Drizzle the desired amount of gravy over the casserole and serve hot.
