# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 2 cups regular flour
02 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

→ Fruit

10 - 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped (around 2 cups)

→ Glaze

11 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter
12 - 1/2 cup real maple syrup
13 - 1 cup powdered sugar

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Put parchment paper in a 9x13-inch baking pan with extra hanging over the sides so you can lift it out easily later.
02 - Mix the melted unsalted butter and brown sugar in a big bowl until they're completely blended together.
03 - Put in one egg, stir well, then add the second egg and mix again. Add vanilla extract and stir until everything's mixed up.
04 - In another bowl, stir together the regular flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
05 - Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, gently folding until you've got a smooth batter.
06 - Toss in the chopped apples and fold them into the batter until they're spread out evenly.
07 - Pour the batter into your lined pan and spread it out flat. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out with just a few moist bits.
08 - Let the blondies cool down in the pan on a wire rack before you add the glaze.
09 - In a small pot over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add maple syrup and stir together, then slowly mix in powdered sugar until it's smooth enough to pour.
10 - Pour the maple glaze over the cooled blondies, cut them into squares, and they're ready to enjoy.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Make sure to pat your chopped apples dry with a paper towel before adding them to the batter to keep everything from getting mushy.
