# What You’ll Need:

01 - 6 medium russet potatoes or 1 bag of frozen fries (28–32 oz)
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil (if using fresh potatoes)
03 - 1–2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
04 - ¼ cup ranch dressing (plus extra for dipping)

→ Cheese Sauce

05 - 2 tablespoons butter
06 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
07 - ⅔ cup milk
08 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

# Steps to Follow:

01 - For fresh potatoes: Wash and cut into fries, then toss in olive oil. For frozen fries: Use directly from the bag.
02 - Arrange fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 450°F for 15–20 minutes if using fresh potatoes, or follow package instructions for frozen fries. Flip halfway through cooking.
03 - Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
04 - Arrange the hot fries on a serving tray. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and drizzle with cheese sauce and ranch dressing. Serve warm with extra dressing on the side.
