Get your oven going at 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready.

Toss together the potato cubes, cooked chicken, sour cream, milk, and seasonings (salt and pepper) in a big bowl until it all looks even.

Scoop half the potato mix into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle on half the cheddar, chopped green onions, and bacon crumbles.

Cover the dish with the rest of the potato mix, then top it with the rest of the cheese, onions, and bacon.

Put the dish in the oven for 30-35 minutes. The top should be bubbly and perfectly golden.
