02 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 8 ounces unsalted butter, melted and brought down to room temp
06 - 1 1/4 cups dark brown sugar
07 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
08 - 2 large eggs at room temperature
09 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

→ Mix-Ins

10 - 1 cup red and green M&M's, with some saved for decorating
11 - 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, with extra set aside for topping
12 - 1/2 cup pretzels, smashed into small bits, with some kept for garnish
13 - 1/3 cup salted potato chips, crumbled, plus extra for decoration
14 - 2 tablespoons holiday sprinkles (jimmies)

# How to Make It:

01 - Melt your unsalted butter and let it sit for about 20 minutes to cool down completely, making sure it isn't warm when you use it.
02 - In a big bowl, stir together your flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until they're mixed well.
03 - In another bowl, mix the cooled melted butter with both sugars until smooth. Then add your eggs and vanilla, and stir until everything's well blended.
04 - Pour the flour mix into your wet ingredients and stir with a rubber spatula just until you can't see any dry spots.
05 - Add the M&M's, white chocolate chips, pretzel bits, potato chip pieces, and holiday sprinkles. Fold them in so they're spread evenly through the dough.
06 - Scoop the dough using a 1 1/2 ounce ice cream scoop onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each ball.
07 - Put the cookie dough balls in the fridge for 1 hour. If you're in a hurry, pop them in the freezer for 30 minutes instead.
08 - Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Put six dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes, turning the pan around halfway through cooking.
09 - Take the cookies out and right away use a big cookie cutter to gently push the edges into a perfect circle. While they're still hot, stick some extra mix-ins on top as decoration.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Using a large ring to shape your cookies right after baking helps them look like they came from a fancy bakery.
