Honey Garlic Lemon Chicken (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1.5 lbs Chicken Breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 1 teaspoon Salt
03 - 1 teaspoon Pepper
04 - 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
05 - 0.25 cup Cornstarch
06 - 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
07 - 4 Tablespoons Butter
08 - 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
09 - 0.33 cup Honey
10 - 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
11 - 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
12 - Fresh Oregano or Italian Parsley, chopped for garnish

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and pat dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the chicken in cornstarch in a bowl and coat evenly.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and cook the chicken for 8-10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
03 - Add butter, minced garlic, honey, fresh lemon juice, and soy sauce to the skillet. Cook and allow the mixture to thicken for about 5 minutes.
04 - If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and cook the sauce for an additional 5 minutes. Add the chicken back to the skillet and coat well with the sauce. Garnish with fresh oregano or parsley and serve. Optionally, drizzle with more honey when serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Use boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, and freshly squeeze the lemon juice for the best flavor.
02 - For a gluten-free alternative, substitute soy sauce with tamari sauce.
03 - Cornstarch helps the sauce adhere to the chicken and creates a crispy coating; you may substitute flour if desired.
