Healthy Baked Apple Oatmeal (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1 ½ cups almond milk
03 - 1 cup apples, chopped
04 - ¼ cup chopped pecans
05 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
06 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
07 - 1 egg, beaten
08 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
09 - ½ teaspoon ground ginger
10 - ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and prepare a greased 8x8 oven-safe baking dish.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients. Stir until combined.
03 - Pour the batter into the prepared greased 8x8 pan – it will look like there is too much liquid, but it will absorb.
04 - Bake the oatmeal uncovered for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees F, until the top is golden brown and the milk is completely absorbed.
05 - Enjoy warm or cold! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. This oatmeal will last up to a week refrigerated.

# Additional Notes:

01 - The apples and pecans provide a nice crunch, but you can substitute walnuts, almonds, or macadamia nuts.
02 - This oatmeal is perfect for meal-prep and can also be frozen in individual portions for up to a week.
