02 - 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
03 - 0.25 cup plain panko breadcrumbs
04 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Burger Assembly

08 - 4 pineapple rings, cored
09 - 1 small red onion, cut into thick slices
10 - 4 hamburger buns
11 - Lettuce leaves
12 - Additional teriyaki sauce, for brushing and drizzling

→ Optional

13 - 4 slices provolone cheese, Swiss, or pepper jack

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix by hand until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.
02 - Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, creating a slight dimple in the center to promote even cooking.
03 - Heat a grill or heavy grill pan to medium-high temperature.
04 - Place patties on the grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side. Flip the burgers, brush with additional teriyaki sauce, and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes or until the desired doneness is reached.
05 - While burgers are cooking, grill pineapple rings and red onion slices for 2 to 3 minutes per side until lightly charred.
06 - During the last minute of grilling, place a cheese slice on each patty and allow it to melt.
07 - Lightly toast the cut sides of the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute until golden.
08 - Layer lettuce on the bottom bun, top with the burger patty, grilled onion, grilled pineapple ring, and a drizzle of teriyaki sauce. Place the top bun over.
09 - Serve immediately while hot for best enjoyment.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Avoid over-mixing the ground beef to retain a tender texture in the cooked patties.
