Hawaiian Shoyu Chicken (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 5 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
02 - 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
03 - 2 tablespoons water
04 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
07 - 1/2 yellow onion, minced
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine all ingredients in a large bowl or ziplock bag and marinate chicken overnight in the refrigerator.
02 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
03 - Transfer chicken and marinade to a baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
