Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks on both sides until they reach your preferred doneness. Transfer steaks to a plate and tent with foil to rest.

Melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Carefully pour bourbon into the skillet, scraping any browned bits from the pan. Allow alcohol to simmer and reduce for 2 minutes.

Lower heat to medium. Stir in heavy cream and combine thoroughly. Simmer the sauce until slightly thickened, around 5 minutes.
