01 -
Warm your oven to 350°F. Put parchment paper in an 8x8 inch baking dish with paper hanging over sides so you can pull out brownies later.
02 -
Grab a microwave-safe bowl and throw in the butter, vegetable oil, regular sugar, and brown sugar. Heat them in 30-second bursts, giving it a good stir each time. After everything's melted, nuke it one more minute. Stir it really well until sugar isn't grainy anymore.
03 -
Drop in cold eggs one by one, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla until you notice the mix starts pulling away from the bowl sides a bit.
04 -
Sift your flour, cocoa powder, and salt right into the mix. Fold it all together just until mixed. Don't go crazy with the stirring.
05 -
Pour half your brownie mix into the pan and smooth it out. Place 15 Oreos flat across the batter in a single layer.
06 -
Dump the rest of your brownie batter on top of the Oreos. Make sure they're totally hidden and the top looks nice and even.
07 -
Sprinkle those 5 crushed Oreos all over the top. Stick it in the hot oven for 30 to 45 minutes. You'll know it's done when a toothpick comes out with some moist crumbs on it.
08 -
Put the pan on a wire rack and let everything cool down completely. Then grab those parchment edges and lift the whole thing out. Cut it up into squares and enjoy.
