02 - ½ tsp black pepper
03 - ½ tsp garlic powder
04 - 1 tsp salt
05 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

→ Pineapple

06 - 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned, drained)
07 - 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for caramelizing)

08 - 4 slices cheddar cheese (or pepper jack)
09 - 4 burger buns (brioche or Hawaiian rolls)
10 - Lettuce leaves
11 - Tomato slices
12 - Red onion slices
13 - BBQ sauce or teriyaki sauce (optional)
14 - Butter for toasting buns

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
02 - In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into 4 equal patties, slightly larger than your buns (they’ll shrink during cooking).
03 - Place pineapple rings on the grill. Sprinkle with a little brown sugar if desired. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized grill marks appear. Set aside.
04 - Place the patties on the grill. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking. Cover grill or tent with foil to melt the cheese.
05 - Butter the cut sides of the buns and grill them for 1–2 minutes until golden and crispy.
06 - Layer bottom bun → lettuce → tomato → beef patty with melted cheese → grilled pineapple ring → onion slice → drizzle of BBQ or teriyaki sauce (optional) → top bun.
