Use a spiralizer or julienne peeler to turn the zucchini into long noodles. Set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, approximately 1 minute. Avoid burning the garlic.

Add the zucchini noodles to the skillet. Toss gently to coat them in the garlic-infused oil and butter. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until tender but still slightly firm.

Remove from heat and gently mix in the fresh basil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
