Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Chicken & Marinade

01 - 450 g chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 60 ml olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Equipment

09 - Wooden or metal skewers (if wooden, soak in water for 20 minutes)

→ Garnish

10 - Additional grated Parmesan cheese
11 - Fresh parsley, chopped
12 - Lemon wedges

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large bowl, combine olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well integrated.
02 - Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for enhanced flavor development.
03 - Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving small gaps between each piece to ensure even cooking throughout.
04 - Set your air fryer to 200°C and preheat for 3 minutes before cooking.
05 - Arrange skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't overlap. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C and develops a golden exterior.
06 - Transfer the finished skewers to a serving platter. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges for a bright finish.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For extra texture, try sprinkling panko breadcrumbs on the chicken before air frying
02 - Boneless, skinless chicken thighs can be substituted for a juicier result
03 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer
