# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup granulated sugar or 3/4 cup honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar
02 - 3/4 cup filtered water
03 - 12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries

# How to Make It:

01 - Rinse cranberries thoroughly in a bowl of water. Remove and discard any cranberries that are shriveled, soft, discolored, or floating. Drain well.
02 - Combine sugar, or alternative sweetener, with water in a large saucepan. Place over medium heat and stir until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
03 - Add cranberries to the saucepan. Bring mixture to a gentle boil, then lower heat to a simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, approximately 12 to 15 minutes.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For a thinner consistency, simmer less; for a thicker sauce, extend simmering and allow to cool completely before serving.
