# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 6 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
02 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
08 - 1/2 cup apple juice
09 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch

# How to Make It:

01 - Peel, core, and cut the apples into thick wedges. Arrange the apple wedges evenly at the base of the slow cooker.
02 - Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt in a small mixing bowl.
03 - Sprinkle the blended sugar and spice mixture over the apple wedges, gently tossing to ensure uniform coating.
04 - Pour the melted unsalted butter and apple juice over the seasoned apples.
05 - Cover and cook on the LOW setting for 3 hours, or until the apples are fork-tender yet maintain their shape.
06 - In a separate small cup, whisk cornstarch with water to form a slurry. Stir this mixture into the cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking to slightly thicken the sauce.
07 - Once finished, gently stir the apples. Serve warm as a side dish or dessert.
