Boil a large, salted pot of water, then cook pasta al dente according to package directions.

In a skillet, combine the pesto and cream, stir well, and simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until thickened. Add hot pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.

Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss the pasta with the sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed. Optionally, top with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
