Easy Marry Me Chicken Breast (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
02 - 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast cutlets

→ Chicken Seasoning

03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

→ Creamy Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce

07 - 3 fresh garlic cloves, minced
08 - 3/4 cup chicken broth
09 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
10 - 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
11 - 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

→ Garnish

12 - Fresh herbs such as basil, rosemary, oregano, or parsley

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
02 - Add oil to a non-stick or large cast iron skillet and heat on medium-high heat. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and crushed chili flakes. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season on both sides. Add seasoned chicken to hot oil and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
03 - Reduce the skillet heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds without burning. Pour in chicken stock to deglaze the pan, scraping up the browned bits with a wooden spoon. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and chopped sundried tomatoes until combined.
04 - If using an oven-safe skillet, return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Alternatively, transfer chicken to a greased casserole dish and pour the sauce on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
05 - Serve warm with optional garnish of fresh herbs.
