01 -
Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Break up the meat with a spatula and season with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is well browned and cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain off excess fat and allow to cool slightly.
02 -
Stack the flour tortillas on a microwave-safe plate, cover with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 20 to 25 seconds until soft and pliable.
03 -
Lay one warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon ketchup in the center, leaving a 2-inch border. Line 4 dill pickle slices in the center, place 1 slice American cheese on top, then add about 4 ounces of the cooked beef mixture. Fold the sides inward, then roll the tortilla tightly from the bottom, keeping the filling enclosed. Repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings.
04 -
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Brush the tops of each assembled wrap with melted butter.
05 -
Arrange the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each. Air fry for 5 minutes, or until the exterior is golden and crisp.
06 -
Remove the wraps from the air fryer and immediately brush with the remaining melted butter. Let rest for 2 minutes before slicing and serving.
