Delicate asparagus spears coated in parmesan and panko, baked until golden and crunchy.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ For the asparagus coating

01 - 1 bunch fresh asparagus, woody ends trimmed
02 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 tablespoon water
05 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
06 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 - Cooking spray or olive oil, as needed

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray or olive oil.
02 - Place the flour in a shallow dish. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with water. In a third shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
03 - Dredge each asparagus spear in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture. Arrange coated spears in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Spray the coated asparagus with cooking spray or lightly drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and crisp.
05 - Serve warm with your preferred dipping sauce such as ranch or marinara.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use thick asparagus spears for optimal crispiness, and avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to maintain even browning.
