In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheese, breadcrumbs, ranch dressing, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.

Shape the mixture into 6-8 patties, approximately 1/2 inch thick.

If desired, coat each patty in additional breadcrumbs for enhanced crispiness.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and thoroughly heated.

Transfer cooked patties to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
