02 - 2 medium-sized potatoes, diced into small cubes
03 - 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
04 - 1 onion, finely chopped
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

07 - 1 tsp paprika
08 - 1 tsp dried thyme
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Cooking Medium

10 - 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

→ Optional Garnish

11 - Fresh parsley

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Dice the potatoes into small cubes, finely chop the onion, and mince the garlic.
02 - Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground meat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Cook until fully browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
04 - Add the diced potatoes to the skillet. Cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and lightly browned.
05 - Return the ground meat to the skillet with the potatoes. Stir in paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
06 - Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream or half-and-half, stirring to combine. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top and allow it to melt, creating a creamy sauce.
07 - Optional: garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately for a warm and comforting meal.

# Additional Notes:

01 - To ensure even cooking, dice the potatoes into small, uniform cubes.
02 - For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
